Vehicle Compatibility

Vehicles factory-equipped with D5S HID headlights (Audi, VW, etc.).

Before ordering, please confirm your vehicle’s bulb type in the owner’s manual or by removing the existing bulb and checking the base. The model number is also stamped on the side of most factory bulbs.

Installation

Direct plug-and-play replacement — no wiring modification, no ballast replacement required. Simply unlock the factory bulb connector, swap in the new D5S (Integrated Ballast) capsule and lock it back in. Recommended installation time: 10–15 minutes per side.

Important: This bulb is a replacement for factory HID systems only. It is not compatible with vehicles equipped with halogen headlights from the factory.
